Call for Presentations
OpenPGP.conf is a conference for users and implementers of the OpenPGP protocol, the popular standard for encrypted email communication and protection of data at rest. The conference shall give users and implementers of OpenPGP based systems an overview of the current state of use and provide in-depth information on technical aspects.
Potential speakers are expected to submit an extended abstract covering one of the topics listed below. Full papers are not required but will be accepted as an addition.
The topics for this conference are:
- The OpenPGP protocol and its planned revision
- Current status of OpenPGP applications
- Interesting use cases
- Key discovery and distribution
- Ubiquitous end-to-end encryption
- Security analysis
- User interface studies
- Anonymous mail and the spam problem
We are expecting your submission at: papers2016@gnupg.org
Please send your extended abstract as plain text before June 15th. Make sure to provide a title for the talk and please add some information about you. The slots for the talks are 45 minutes including Q&A. Accepted speakers will be notified by end of June. If you also want to send a paper, use a standard LaTeX class and send the LaTeX file and a PDF version. All material shall be licensed under CC BY-SA 4.0 or a compatible license for later publication on this web site.
